《魔笛》是艺术家陈卓创作的一首小诗，以莫扎特的著名歌剧命名，并成为本次展览的名字。
“对月亮的各种幻想以及它本身的神秘气质潜移默化的吸引着她去描绘它，它在黑暗的夜晚中发出美丽幽暗的光芒，它的力量和那些古老的传说和神话故事，充满了各种魅力。”
陈卓的此次展览作品以对月亮的具象描绘为主，作品贯穿着充满诗意和灵性的基调。在画面中，陈卓借用了康定斯基式的构成原理，例如用垂直与水平线塑造出“沉默”的节奏感，或是曲线与直线之间张力对比，或是圆与几何的组合构成出音乐般的画面。以画布当剧场，每一件作品也是一节节抑扬顿挫高低起伏的旋律情节。整个展览将呈现出一篇诗意的绘画乐章。

Magic Flute, the name of the exhibition, is also the title of a short verse that artist Chen Zhuo composed, which comes from Mozart’s renowned opera.
“The mystique and various fantasies of the moon have unconsciously attracted her to depict it. It shines beautifully and dimly in the dark night. Its power and the ancient legends and myths about it are full of charms.”

Chen’s works in this exhibition focus on the representational depiction of the moon, with a poetic and spiritual tone. In the pictures, she borrows the composing principle from Kandinsky’s style, such as creating the “silent” rhythm with vertical and horizontal lines, or presenting the tension between curves and straight lines, or depicting a music-like picture with the combination of circles and geometric figures. Here, the canvas is serving as the theater, and every piece of work is a melody of musical cadence. The whole exhibition presents a poetic movement of painting.
